As part of the Ideal Road Safety Town Project for Coimbatore, UYIR is conducting “Dim & Drive”, a community Road Safety awareness initiative focused on responsible use of vehicle headlights during night-time travel.

Excessive use of high-beam headlights can cause glare, reduce visibility, and create serious risks for other road users, particularly drivers travelling in the opposite direction.

The initiative aims to create awareness among motorists about when to use high and low beam lights, encouraging simple and responsible driving practices that can make night-time journeys safer for everyone.
